David Datro Fofana has been the subject of a mini transfer saga in the opening ten days of the January transfer window.
The on loan Chelsea striker has found difficulty adapting to life at Union Berlin scoring just once in twelve league appearances.
In recent days it’s been suggested that Sevilla are working to sign the striker on loan but that would mean he would have to be recalled.
This is where the problem potentially lies with reports from Spain perhaps giving a reason for the delay.
According to Diario de Sevilla, the new coach of Union Berlin, Nenad Bjelica is opposing the idea of Chelsea breaking the loan and is trying to convince Fofana to stay in the Bundesliga.
It will be interesting to see how this one develops as a lot has gone quiet regarding this story.
