With Sunday’s game just around the corner, the following suspension report has been updated for our clash against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The current injury report may well be stacked with players on the sideline but the looming 1 game ban for 5 yellow cards continue to hang over the shoulder for Pochettino.
Fortunately for this specific game, Chelsea have no suspension issues to contend with.
Currently, Chelsea have 3 players in the danger zone, Enzo Fernandez, Raheem Sterling and Cole Palmer all sit on a tightrope of being one yellow card away from a ban. With Enzo ruled out the risk sits at 2.
Before the extension of 10 yellow cards equalling a ban, Chelsea have two games to contend with, Wolves on Sunday and Crystal Palace on Wednesday evening.
Beyond Wednesday evening, the suspension watchlist will only factor players who pick up 10 yellow cards, Jackson currently sits on 7.
The club also have 3 players close to the danger zone, the following players sit on 3 yellow cards and still could be at a risk if they pick up a booking against Wolves. Caicedo and Mudryk headline those who are 2 away with Ben Chilwell also being in that category but he will highly unlikely make an appearance again in 2023.
