Suspension/Injury Report: Chelsea vs Everton

Suspension report is back! After the 5 yellow card threshold being eliminated back in December, two Chelsea players are close to the next threshold which is 10 yellow cards.

The current injury report may well be stacked with players on the sideline but the looming 2 game ban for 10 yellow cards continue to hang over the shoulder for Pochettino. And with European football on the line any suspension could prove costly.

The 10 card threshold gets cleared after 32 matches with the next threshold being 15 which no Chelsea player are close to reaching. With Chelsea only playing 30 matches so far that would mean we have Everton and Arsenal to navigate.

The two Chelsea players who are at risk include Nicolas Jackson and Moises Caicedo who both have 9 bookings each. A yellow card against Everton would see them miss the Arsenal game and then the trip to Villa Park. Any suspension does not apply to the FA Cup.

Jackson has been carrying 9 yellow cards since over celebrating in the victory over Crystal Palace back in February.

On the injury front, the blues are set to be without Chilwell, Disasi, Enzo, Sanchez, Sterling, Colwill, Fofana, Lavia, James, Nkunku and Ugochukwu.
