Raheem Sterling has been speaking to the media following Chelsea’s 1-0 victory over Fulham in the Premier League.
Cole Palmer’s penalty just before half-time was enough for the blues to take all three points as we climb the table in the Premier League.
Many fans gain the fear of a bad day at the office the longer the game goes 0-0 and Raheem Sterling has been speaking to TNT Sports about those concerns.
Raheem said after the game, “Boys are gaining experience and a big club like Chelsea, I feel if we don’t get the first goal in the 15 sometimes can try to over do it… we just need to be patient and we done that got the goal in the end but we need to keep building on results like these and get better.”
Sterling also reiterated the importance of playing for Chelsea. He went onto say, “I keep saying at a football club like Chelsea, the boys have to understand what the fans demand here and not getting too much into the noise of the stadium and try to play our game.”
Chelsea now go into the winter break sitting in the European places with Middlesbrough next in the 2nd leg of the Carabao Cup.
“I’m not surprised at all.” 🤷♂️
