The international break is fully behind us and the pre-match preparation for the away trip to Newcastle is in full swing.
Pochettino’s pre match press conference is due shortly, but an hour before the media segment the club release a injury report to be transparent with the press and more importantly, the supporters.
As this is the first injury report since Chelsea’s 4-4 draw with Manchester City the anticipation has been its highest especially when Nkunku and Lavia’s returns have been hyped across the break.
The bad news is that six players will be unavailable for the trip to Newcastle with the full list being published by Chelsea FC themselves. Both Nkunku and Lavia will miss tomorrows clash but have both been described as “progressing well”
As for the other four, Chalobah, Fofana, Chilwell and Chukwuemeka are still continuing “rehabilitation”. The good news is that both Levi Colwill and Malo Gusto are available despite both not going on international duty.
