Chelsea being in the midst of an injury crisis is nothing new. The club have experienced injury setbacks in both 21/22, 22/23 and now 23/24 so supporters have almost become immune to it.

With Chelsea seemingly suffering more injuries than normal despite having no European football, questions have recently been asked about the clubs medical overhaul which has seen almost every player impacted to some degree.

According to Adrian Kajumba in the Mail Online, the club are internally happy with the changes made to the medical department and are just waiting for the impact of the changes to show. The report also goes onto say Pochettino’s training methods need time to adapt to.

With supporters seeing James, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka, Fofana, Lavia, Nkunku and so many other players out for a long period of time, naturally Chelsea fans will be pessimistic whether the department is at high performance.
