It wouldn’t be a Premier League game without controversy would it?
In the first half of Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Fulham, Malo Gusto appeared to get away with one after leaving a strong tackle on Willian.
Marco Silva after the game was furious with the decision and made his feelings known after the game to the media.
Pochettino was asked following the game about the decision and he gave the classic managers response in an interview with TNT Sports. He said, “I respect his opinion. It was a challenge, a difficult challenge for the referees and the VAR, I don’t know if they check or not.
Ok. I’m not going to say nothing, I accept that maybe…it was a red card but I cannot say too much because I didn’t see all the angles and the camera yet. Look that is football.”
Gusto and Pochettino know they have gotten away with one and maybe just the luck the team need.
“I accept maybe he understands it’s a red card. I didn’t see all the camera angles.” 💬
