Chelsea host Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday evening as the festive fixtures continue.

The defeat at Wolves is still fresh in the memory but the quickest way to bounce back is to be able to win as soon as possible.

As the festive fixtures come thick and fast, Chelsea have the opportunity to do just that.

Ahead of the game, Pochettino told reporters after the Wolves game about the selection headache he will have for this clash. The blues have both injury and suspension issues to overcome.

Pochettino said (via PA), “If you’re going to see the squad for the next game, you’re going to see more than eight first-team players (out).”

Without getting into speculation, Chelsea will be without, Sanchez, Cucurella, James, Chalobah, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka & Fofana through injury while both Palmer and Sterling will be out the game due to picking up their 5th yellow card of the season.

Ugochukwu could also be a doubt which leaves Chelsea with at least 10 players watching from the sidelines.

It’s about time that these players stand up and be counted. The performances have been well below what is expected of this great club. Show that they are worthy of wearing the shirt and start winning because this is not acceptable
