Pochettino has been speaking to the media ahead of Chelsea’s Carabao Cup tie away to Middlesbrough, who sit 12th in the Championship.
With Jackson at the Africa Cup of Nations and Nkunku dealing with injury struggles, Pochettino has a dilemma on who he can play up front apart from Armando Broja.
Despite scoring against Preston, Broja has struggled in recent weeks and that has bought questioning as to whether the blues need to enter the transfer market.
Pochettino was asked just that today and the boss responded, “We have Broja, Palmer, so many players who can play in the striker position. I am very positive and happy with the squad. If something appears, we will announce. At the moment, we are assessing and working normally.”
With Chelsea unlikely signing their preferred forward this month it seems like Pochettino will have to wait and make do with what he has for the remaining months of the season.
