Tuesday is a groundbreaking day in Pochettino’s career and Chelsea’s season as a whole.

A victory would see Chelsea’s season more than alive heading into 2024 but a defeat would leave the FA Cup as the only likely way of European football next season, unless of course the league form picks up.

Chelsea are looking for a domestic trophy for the first time since 2018, winning the FA Cup against Manchester United under Antonio Conte.

Pochettino has recently been speaking to the media and Chelsea fans will be delighted to hear what he has said ahead of the match at Stamford Bridge.

He told the press, via the Daily Mail; “It is a really good opportunity to win. I saw for more than 10 years how clubs celebrate winning this cup. It is one of our objectives. We are taking it seriously and we are going to put out the best team possible as if we are playing for a final or for our lives.”

Victory on Tuesday and Chelsea fans will begin to believe, after the 4-1 defeat just a matter of weeks ago the talking needs to be done on the pitch rather than off it.
