Nkunku set for spell on sidelines again

Christopher Nkunku’s rough season at Stamford Bridge looks set to continue as manager Mauricio Pochettino has once again ruled the midfielder out for a period of time.

Speaking ahead of Wednesday nights clash against Leeds United in the 5th round of the Emirates FA Cup, Pochettino confirmed that the Frenchman is hoping to be out for a period of 3-4 weeks, but that was not in a confident tone.

Pochettino also confirmed that he couldn’t tell how the £55m signing from RB Leipzig picked up the injury and the blues will have to be without him till at least the March international break.

Meanwhile Chelsea will still be without Cucurella, Silva, Badiashile, Chukwuemeka, Fofana, James and Ugochukwu.
