John Obi Mikel has recently been speaking to Sky Sports at the recent FIFA Football Awards which were held in London.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been speaking regularly in recent times with the launch of the Obi One Podcast where he has seen guests such as Mourinho, Osimhen and Joe Cole speak unfiltered.

Mikel has also been pictured with co-owner Todd Boehly at the awards ceremony which will only increase the rumours surrounding Chelsea’s pursuit of Victor Osimhen and any Mourinho third spell at Stamford Bridge.

At the awards ceremony Mikel told Sky (via Daily Mail) perhaps some advice he would give to the new owners. He said, “We’ve given them time now. it’s been half a year. Now it’s time to win. In Chelsea there’s no time. You have to win, that’s our motto.

If you don’t win, Roman gets you out of the door and gets someone else. So I think that should be the new owner’s way of thinking, you have to win. If you don’t win, what’s the point of being at Chelsea? “
