Chelsea forward, Nicolas Jackson has joined up with the Senegal team ahead of the upcoming AFCON.
The tournament begins on January 13th and the final will take place on February 11th. With Jackson meeting prior to the tournament this means he will miss any game taking place from here.
Jackson was pictured on the official Senegal account in training ahead of the tournament.
The group stages conclude on January 24th so Jackson will be guaranteed to miss Chelsea’s Premier League clash against Fulham. Our opposition that day will also likely be without Bassey, Iwobi and Ballo-Toure.
As Jackson has left he will miss both Carabao Cup semi-finals as well as the FA Cup this weekend.
Games Jackson could miss: Preston (H), Middlesbrough (A), Fulham (H), Middlesbrough (H), FA Cup R4*, Liverpool (A), Wolves (H), Crystal Palace (A).
