With the mens team not in action this midweek and the women’s team on international break, the full focus has been on Chelsea’s development/academy sides.
Last night Chelsea’s U21s hosted fellow BlueCo owned club, Strasbourg in a behind closed doors game hosted at Cobham and also online on the clubs new app which has been developed by Infinite Athlete.
Chelsea fell short on a cold night at Cobham losing 4-1, on paper it looked like a narrow defeat but those who will be looking at the result will be questioning who are the feeder club, just days after Strasbourg ultras calling Chelsea their ‘bigger brother’
Involved for the blues last night included summer signings Deivid Washington (who scored) and Jimmy-Jay Morgan. Alex Matos and Leo Castledine were also involved who are highly known amongst the fanbase.
The result made the rounds across X/Twitter, with responses you could easily predict. “We are the feeder club now”
Are you sure we are not the feeder club?

Chelsea will be hoping to bounce back this weekend across academy levels.
