Enzo Fernandez has been speaking to the media recently as the blues are on a winter break.
Enzo joined the blues last year following his World Cup success with Argentina. Since then he has been partnered with Moises Caicedo who joined for a British record transfer fee over the summer.
Fernandez today has been speaking on that partnership with SportsCentre in Argentina, he told ESPN;
“With Moi we have generated a very good bond, we have a great relationship outside the field. When it comes to playing, communication is different, we know that with a glance we understand each other.”
Enzo went onto explain about the freedom he has under Pochettino to link up with Caicedo, he explained;
“Poch gives us a lot of freedom on the court. I’m playing in a position where I can let go more by having Moi next to me. The way we play allows me to step on the area.”
Enzo also told ESPN, “It is a pride to play with Caicedo.”
Chelsea will be hoping that midfield partnership can strike success in the next week as the blues take on Middlesbrough and Aston Villa in two cup competitions.
