The latest injury report ahead of our FA Cup clash against Preston North-End is out and it’s good news for Chelsea fans.

It has today been confirmed by Chelsea Football Club that both Chilwell and Chukwuemeka are in full training. This is a welcome boost as both have spent the majority of the season on the sidelines this season.

Chelsea are still set to be without Badiashile, Chalobah, Cucurella, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez and Ugochukwu for this upcoming cup tie which will frustrate Pochettino.

Lavia has played just over half hour of football for Chelsea and has since been ruled out. The club website specify that he is undergoing his “rehabilitation programme”. The same applies for Ugochukwu who got injured in Chelsea’s Christmas Eve clash against Wolves.

Another name who is a surprise to be on the report is Badiashile with the club describing it as ‘reconditioning phase” on the site.

Pochettino confirmed that despite being in full training, both Chilwell and Chukwuemeka will miss the cup tie. Also Nkunku is not fit enough to start following a knock, as reported by Pochettino.
