20-year-old Slovenia and RB Leipzig forward, Benjamin Šeško, has had his release clause revealed earlier today.
Benjamin Šeško has been a target of Chelsea’s since 2022 according to reports.
In October of 2022, Šeško’s agent was even pictured with Chelsea owners, Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali, before his move to current club RB Leipzig.
According to reports via Philipp Hinze on X, the 20-year-old’s release clause has been revealed and is definitely within the London clubs budget.
Philipp said: “As Sky exclusively learned, Benjamin Sesko’s contract includes an exit clause…”
He goes on to state that this clause, albeit real, is only available starting from the summer window.
He continues: “Sesko moved to Leipzig in the summer for €24 million + €6 million. The clause was a necessary compromise.”
€50 million, or £43 million, would definitely raise interest from several clubs, Chelsea included.
