Predicted XI: Liverpool vs Chelsea

Share this article:

After the latest squad report revealed that Cucurella, Colwill, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez, Ugochukwu and Chalobah will be missing for tomorrow’s clash against Liverpool. Predicting Pochettino’s team has become a bit of a challenge.

With first and second choice right back options either out or not up to full fitness, Pochettino may well turn his attention back to Disasi who has experience of playing as a right-back. As for left back, I fully expect Chilwell to retain his spot despite Badiashile doing a good job against Aston Villa

The centre back pairing is more than likely to be Thiago Silva playing alongside Badiashile as Disasi will likely play right back and Colwill is out injured. The midfield pairing will likely be Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo once again.

Gallagher is bound to be just in front of those two with Pochettino attempting to neutralise Liverpool in the middle of the park. Madueke impressed alongside Sterling against Aston Villa so it wouldn’t be a surprise if both of those two started with Palmer up front.

If Jackson were to make it back on time he will likely start on the bench given he would have had no training sessions.

The team I predict it will be; Petrovic, Disasi, Silva, Badiashile, Chilwell, Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher, Madueke, Palmer, Sterling.
