After the latest squad report revealed that Cucurella, Colwill, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez, Ugochukwu and Chalobah will be missing for tomorrow’s clash against Wolves. Predicting Pochettino’s team has become a bit unpredictable following the return of Nkunku and Gusto.
With Gusto and Chilwell back Pochettino may well have 2 full backs to pick. The centre back pairing will be decided between Disasi, Badiashile and Thiago Silva. None of them look inform so picking a pairing may well turn out to be difficult.
The midfield pairing will likely be Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo once again even though under Pochettino I don’t think they compliment each other to what a better manager could do. I’ll be disappointed if Pochettino opts with Gallagher once again as in recent weeks he hasn’t shown anything to hold a starting spot. For me it’s the perfect time to integrate Carney Chukwuemeka.
The front three is likely to be either Mudryk or Sterling on the left with Jackson up front with Palmer coming in off the right. This is a must win game for Chelsea and Pochettino and he simply can’t get it wrong.
The team I predict it will be; Petrovic, Gusto, Silva, Disasi, Chilwell, Enzo, Caicedo, Chukwuemeka, Palmer, Jackson, Mudryk.
