Predicted XI: Chelsea vs Leicester (23/24)

The final match before the March international break is on the horizon. Chelsea take on Leicester City in the quarter-finals of the FA Cup with a place at Wembley Stadium at stake.

Predicting Pochettino’s team should be easy given the amount of players that have been ruled out for Sunday’s clash and a suspension to Enzo Fernandez adds further complication.

As well as Enzo the blues will be without James, Fofana, Lavia, Colwill, Nkunku and Ugochukwu.

Pochettino has both goalkeepers available for selection and Robert Sanchez did start in the 3-2 win over Leeds last month. With Chilwell back and Cucurella having 90 minutes under his belt, Pochettino has both left backs available to him as well as the inform Malo Gusto.

As for centre back Pochettino has three options, Thiago Silva could return and displace one of Chalobah and Disasi or the boss could look to keep consistency by using the same pairing that saw the blues win 3-2 on Monday. Badiashile could return but it does seem a risk if he starts.

The midfield pairing will likely be Moises Caicedo and Conor Gallagher as Casadei is cup tied and Enzo is suspended. With Mudryk playing as the ‘number 10’ against Leeds Pochettino may well head for that route again.

Predicted XI: Sanchez, Gusto, Disasi, Thiago Silva, Cucurella, Gallagher, Caicedo, Mudryk, Palmer, Jackson, Sterling.
