Quick-fire player ratings: Chelsea 1-0 Fulham

Chelsea are back to winning ways as the blues edged Fulham 1-0 in the early kick-off at Stamford Bridge.

A late first half penalty from Cole Palmer was enough to give the Chelsea a well needed 3 points going into the winter break.

Here are the quick fire player ratings from Saturday’s victory by CFCDaily.

Petrovic: 8.5/10- Some big saves today, especially at crucial times of the game. Every time Fulham sent a ball into the box he was dominant in the air and his distribution seemed massively improved today.

Gusto: 8/10- Top performance today, very fortunate to have not have been sent off following a tackle from Willian but other than that he was impressive both defensively and offensively. If he can stay fit he might be Chelsea’s most important player right now.

Disasi: 8/10- Comfortable performance from someone who has come under the microscope in recent weeks. Comfortable in the air when tested and cleared his lines to stay clear from any sign of danger. Avoidable booking for once again kicking the ball away.

Thiago Silva: 7.5/10- Another defender who had a comfortable performance but felt he was borderline caught out a few times and needed that yellow card to stop a counter attack that sensed trouble. Couple of times he needlessly kicked the ball to just get the danger off him but added anxiety to teammates.

Colwill: 7.5/10- Much better performance today and always had control of the left side. Kept busy for all of the game and was particularly strong winning duels. Only player in the back 4 to not get booked either.

Caicedo- 8/10- One of the best players on the pitch for Chelsea. So clean with his passing and controls the middle of the park with Enzo. Solid midfield performance.

Enzo: 9/10- Everything runs through him and the centre of the team’s creation. Pin point crosses, picks out the perfect pass and is essential in turning a basic attack into something dangerous. Good defensively too but a bit short of pace at times.

Gallagher: 7/10- Decent performance from Gallagher, made his presence known. Accurate in his passing and really unlucky to not get on the scoresheet after smashing the post. One frustrating thing with Gallagher is how long he takes with the ball at his feet and perhaps not going with the risk-reward pass.

Sterling: 7/10- Much better performance today and won the penalty which ensured all 3 points. Apart from winning the penalty, Sterling hardly got involved in the game but he did do his job defensively supporting Colwill.

Palmer: 8.5/10- Top performance responding from the disappointment in the week. Perfect penalty once again and a joy to watch creative wise. A combination between him, Caicedo and Enzo are brewing. Mostly off the right today.

Broja: 6.5/10- Much better performance today and looked a threat, unlucky to not hit the target with a header. For a striker he needs to be involved a bit more but I feel like his presence was underrated as when he came off that is when Chelsea began to lose grip on the game.

Subs: Madueke: 6/10, Chilwell: 6/10, Chukwuemeka: N/A, Gilchrist: N/A.
