Predicted XI: Crystal Palace vs Chelsea (23/24)

After the latest squad report revealed that Cucurella, Badiashile, James, Fofana, Lavia, Sanchez and Ugochukwu will be missing for tomorrow’s clash against Crystal Palace, Pochettino once again doesn’t have a full selection of players available.

Predicting Pochettino’s team would have been easy if Badiashile didn’t pick up that knock following Chelsea’s FA Cup victory over Aston Villa in the week. Instead we are left with the position of going another step back from the positivity we witnessed on Wednesday.

Three of the back four will pick itself, it just comes down to whether Levi Colwill is risked or not. With Pochettino likely going for the safe option of bringing back Thiago Silva.

The midfield pairing will likely be Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo once again. Gallagher’s goal in midweek likely means he will get the go ahead.

The front three I expect to see is Jackson on the left, Nkunku down the middle with Palmer coming in off the right. This is a must win game for Chelsea and Pochettino simply can’t get it wrong. Anything other than a win could see Chelsea out the race for Europe via the league.

The team I predict it will be; Petrovic, Gusto, Disasi, Thiago Silva, Chilwell, Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher, Jackson, Nkunku, Palmer.
